We have leased twice with pinnacle since 2022. Both times there were rate increases. The most recent lease in 2024 increased from $209 to $240 and again from $240 to $280 in less than 1 year. The contract you sign gives them the right to increases. “Occupant acknowledges that such stated Monthly Rate may be increased by Lessor, at any time and by any amount, upon written notice to Occupant of such increase.” We found rates at one-third the cost for the same size unit about 4 miles from division drive location in Castle Hayne. Only rent very short term from them and consider checking other options. We paid $775 this month in moving fees for approximately $3900 savings over the next 12 month at the less expensive location.
